Description
This model was created under the guidance of Reyes León, a graduate in Spanish Dance, Director and Teacher of the “La Castañuela” School, a castanet concert artist and a pioneer in the introduction of castanets in Holy Week marches.
This model was created to address this last point.
In its creation, we used a traditional yet innovative design, with a very special sound that reminds us of the baroque and brotherhood-related Seville.
It is 100% handmade from beech wood in two shades: brown and beige. The harvesting of this type of wood is fully controlled and certified by dedicated organizations, ensuring that you are purchasing an environmentally friendly product.
Please note that, being made of natural wood, you may find that the castanets are not completely uniform and the grain pattern is different in each one.
They are engraved with our brand: CASTAÑUELAS DEL SUR.
These castanets are only made with a beak and in a normal box.
